I use 4 criss crossed binders, from the four tow points on my bumpers, in which I usually bind the jeep by drawing it down 3-4 inches. I use a 3' pipe to close the binders. When I go back home to the Pennsylvania mountains, I add two more 3" straps, f & r, from center of axle to center of trailer. This is for extra restraint for the angle factor. It rides like a rock back there. I got once lazy and only bound the jeep down about an inch, luckily i only went about 40 miles cause the rear binders came free an the jeep slid 6" forward and I didn't know it.
I also now ty-wrap my binders closed.
