I would assume it has a rod type linkage from the column to the trans. If you took the seal out you would have had to remove the linkage and disturb the proper range of movement, right? Try disconecting the linkage nearest the trans and moving it into park by hand.
It has a b&m shifter on it and i did disconnect it and put it in park and it still rolled. on my next off day im gona pull it apart again and see if anything is disconnected or something, just wondering what specifically to look for.
