The propane set-up so far has worked flawlessly. I will need to add a oil pressure safety switch to cut the power to the ignition if the pickup should come out of the oil in the pan. Typically with a carb this wouldn't be an issue since the oil pickup will work on much steeper angles than a carb will, since propane doesn't care about angles I need to safeguard against potential engine damage.
There are some fine tuning items that need attending to, but nothing major.
Re-locate P/S reservoir closer to the pump
- this was causing some rather interesting moments on saturday, funny thing about full hydro - when the pump cavitates your wheels return to center on their own.
Add bigger P/S cooler
-the all in one cooler, filter, and resi is not quite up to the task of keeping the oil at a decent temp.
Tender Coils on springs
Remove mangled hood and broken windshield
- somewhere along the way home saturday the hood latch failed causing the hood to turn into an "s" and shattering the windshield.
