I have a 3K Champion on my Honda Rancher. Not sure how old it is because it was on there when I bought the quad but I have had periodic trouble with it. The outside of the housing looks brand new but I find myself tearing it apart several times a year to clean it so it will work again. I mainly use it in the winter for plowing. The funny thing is it will work fine all winter...go to use it in the spring and it won't work. I think it is the long periods of inactivity that is killing it. When it is working, it is a tough little winch.

Probably going to spend the money and go Warn for the next one.
