Default Explorer clutch

Bought a 94 sploder few months back. Guy claimed he replaced slave cylinder. Later Noticed that first gear was hard and clutch pedal not as much travel as before. I checked the reservoir and it was empty. I figure fine since I didn't check it. Well a month later (last night) I was doing some light wheeling and I notice I have damn near no clutch pedal again. Check the res and it's empty again. But I have been checking weekly and it's been fine. I had to slip the clutch aggressively to get over a few obstacles but otherwise was just splashing through some puddles on a trail. Bad slave? I heard dot 3 evaps easily, maybe from slipping clutch? Idk fluid level has been fine until last night but it's also not the first time apparently. If it's coming back apart I'm changing everything.
