Heads are 502-2 casting. They're the first set of heads I've done by myself so we'll see how they actually work. The flow numbers are good but we race Jeeps not flow benches. I did 2.08/1.74 valves, full port job, reworked combustion chambers (now 64cc), etc. These heads are just temporary until I can get a set of Indys. I'll be able to use them for the new 401 in the black Jeep so it's not like I wasted my time on working a set of iron heads.
I know what you mean about the $$ thing. My chassis guy had an opening so I sent it off for the cage last week and had to put $$ down, then my engine parts bill came the next day. Double ouch.
I think you talked to my old man this summer at a car show. I know he showed me pictures of your Cherokee. Looks like you have done a lot of nice work to it since then. Any pictures of the engine?
Yes i talked to them last august at the hasting's car show last year and i think i have your ph # some where. I could of built a bbc for about half the cost I'll get pick's and all the paper work when i get back down there as it is about 3hr's away from me now.
