me personally i dont ever run taller back than front. Throws the weight of you and the quad off, if your gonna be jumping. Especially on a stupid top heavy raptor. If your just gonna hang out at the beach and drag race all day and maybe do a couple laps you'll be fine but riding hard, jumping, roostin, turning you'll want larger fronts so it rides the same as it does on dirt. Seeing as how your new to the quad thing i wouldnt change it up too much. Stay away from the blue label douglas if your doing anything besides running around. I bend them all the time. 8" rears save them from being bent too easy. 21 rear and 21 or 22 front would be good for you. i run 20" 9 paddle haulers on 8" beadlocks and 21/7-10 smooth buffs on the front. But mine is set up for motocross not draggin. Dune land is expensive, try motosport.com or buy some used locally, my .02
