How long will that 7.5 last? not long, better off with an stock 8.8, even the 28 spline 4:10 in a ranger will handle some decent lashing. how about t-case linkage a good manual shift 1354(?) will hold up quite well. He would have all the lights on the dash, the holes in the floor. I do believe the frames are different not sure.

Although not necessary, larger motor will inevitabily (sp) be to the benefit for most scenarios.

Quit arguing this, over 90% of the time, buying a 4x4 will provide a much better platform for doing a sas and building a usable ranger.
