Well i just got a few mins of spare time and did some research. It should have a 60 front and rear if its not a "light duty" 2500. Which im pretty sure its not, it has 8 lug axles. looks like the trans is definetly a nv4500.
Anyone know if those dana 60 fronts are good for jeep swaps. I mean i know there stronger, but what about this axle vs a ford 60 with locking hubs? Seems like locking hubs would be better for a jeep swap. Can you put different outer knuckles on them and convert them to the old style/ford style with locking hubs?
Basically im thinking about buying the truck for the engine and axles and scrapping the rest. I want to put the 360 in my tj and then hopefully sell the axles and body parts to make up some costs.
