There's not much on the east coast like the expedition type trails (rubicon, fordyce, etc) that are out west. A lot more of it is short trails with the ability to get back to camp in between.

There are some folks that do expedition style wheeling in Canada for multiple days. You might check out the Southern Michigan Rockcrawlers for that type of wheeling.
