This is a knock-off of the very well known Wells saw W-9-1 which is still in production today. This machine is a 1987 model and made for 3 phase power. I got a great deal on this saw and now I am passing that same deal on. We dont have the power capabilities to get this machine going and it will take up too much room in the already cramped shop to make it worth our while. It needs the main drive wheel for the blade, it can be purchased from W.F. Wells and is a drop-on replacement part. You can purchase the wheel and ring gear for right around $660 or if you have machine shop capabilities, you can spend a day making a new wheel and save a LOT of money and have a great saw for the investment. If it doesnt sell I will be fixing it up myself and putting it to use.
The price is $350 obo and I will consider trade/partial for a smaller, 3/4" or 1" blade, single phase horizontal bandsaw. I would also consider a trade/partial for a vertical bandsaw made for cutting metals.
