What he built is professional quality work compared to some of the farmer welding repairs I have seen over the years.
One 66 Oliver Standard had a cracked tub (frame/engine mount, kind of looks like a bath tub). Some Canadian Farmer welded it years ago. The welds looked very much like the scary steering stuff you see on the internet. If the weld failed the tractor broke in 1/2.
I also picked up another tractor that had a 8 pass weld around the front axle.
