Default Jeep d35 rear stock gears?

I'm new to this, I own a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I want to put a lift in it and put some 33" mud tires on it, I'm guessing a 4" lift will work considering I already have 30" tires on it. From what I have read to maintain my fuel economy I will also have to change my front and rear ring and pinion. So my question is... How do I figure out what gears I already have in the front and rear? I looked in the door panel and the stock tires are supposed to be 215/75R15. I found a code on the rear axle that said 5251, but thats all I could find... So any info on how to figure this out would be nice.
