no i would change the hell out of it at500 miles w/ filter, then start loading up the engine, downshifting compression braking to make sure the rings are set (they already should be close)
then change it again at 1000 miles w/ new filter.
after normal 3 to 5k oil change cycles @ 10,000 miles if you want to use a pure syn. oil theres no better time than now
