To me, this statement says that after rebuilding an engine, run it with the oil for 10k miles. Is this excluding the 500 mile "break-in" (yes, I do realize the engine is not completely broke in at 500 miles) period? Or is it stating that you don't need to change it at 500?
he's not saying that you don't change your oil, just that you need to run conventional oil with all your oil changes ie after the first 500 mi, and than every 3000 or 3 months... very nice post, right on with what the scientists at pennzoil preach
