sterotypes have some merit. You should not dismiss them, but not let them rule your life. For example shouldnt a little old lady be more cautious when a group of thug looking teens cross the street to her side, than when to little boys in suits going to church cross the street. ?? I think the answer is clear. Sterotypes are nothing more than memorable occurances, based in fact. Does not apply to all but you should be on the look out for stuff that sticks out and foolish to not keep your eyes open in situation where it can mean getting robbed or worse.
