Wet sanding is the quickest way to get through the oxidation, and you have to be very careful not to sand through or buff through the gel coat.

So if you dont have any experiance with finishes paint or gel coat be very careful and take your time learning the surface you are working on and start in a some what hidden area.

i dont have any pics on my work computer, when i get home tonight (late) ill post some.

i have some experience but i would not consider myself an expert in any capacity. im starting with the matching motor cover, that way if anything were to go wrong i have only damaged a replaceable part.
