Screw you guys who think everyone should plan their life "your" way. I got married young, had kids young and wasn't able to save money early in life to plan towards a retirement. There are others who chose to start a carreer and hold of on a family. I say to each his own. But don't criticize someone for what is not your way of thinking.
My wife and I have also chosen to spend some of our discretionary cash on living for the now instead of living for what we may never live to see. Sure, we've saved money, have investments,
but I highly doubt it will ever be what I would like it to be. I don't have any intention of sitting on my ass watching the grass grow because I can't afford to do what I want. So, we have made a concious decision to recognize that retirement is a long ways away.
