It was still creaking after that. Then with a floor jack and about 5 blocks of wood (it's a bit far off the ground), I jacked the rear up underneath the hitch. I then shot some anti-seize inbetween the leafs as best as I could. That seemed to take care of the big creaks.
Then I was hearing smaller creaks from the tailgate. Dropping the tailgate and jouncing the bed they went away. So I lubed up all the tailgate rubber isolator thingies, hinges, pins, etc.
Noise seems to be gone....fawkin' Dodge.
Which bolt could you not get out ??
You have to remove the lower bolt before u can have clearance to get the other one out... ( insert pp comment here ( Yea Mr. ASE)) :tonka: :tonka: :tonka:
