the revs building when you do it? if not its probably the tq. management not letting it put the power down or the fbw throttle is responding slow. You can try resetting the computer to see if it quickens the delay or get a tuner to adjust it. maybe check and clean the throttle body to see if something is bogging the servo down. how does it act in overdrive? 2p which should be the gear its down shifting into uses the same clutches as overdrive and they could be on there way out if you notice it acting up in the overdrive gears. they are not as strong as the clutch packs for 1-3 and can burn up easy if you do wot down shifts while rolling along at 40-60mph all the time.
