Whatever you decide to buy make sure you practice with it and I don't mean practice shooting paper with one eye closed and at full draw. Practice pulling the gun out of your concealment position and firing rounds off. Don't think so much about perfect shots but getting the gun up and firing. 90% of gun fights happen within 7 yards that is roughly the distance of your out stretched arms and another persons. During thses gunfights 6 to 7 rounds are normally exchanged with only 2 hitting their target. This means it is not necessarily who can shoot better but who gets the gun up AND on target first. Don't carry a gun and pull it if you don't want to use it. This is a good way to escalate a situation and get yourself killed.
