I'm not gonna bash either motor. Any of the '07 and newer engines are basically the same routine; in order to be reliable and get somewhat acceptable mileage, you gotta remove the DPF and EGR. The 6.4s proved to be a pretty awesome motor and are proving to be capable of making upwards of 600hp with just a tune, deletes, intake and exhaust, which is pretty incredible. I think it's turned out to be a great motor. However, there are some incredibly strong running 6.7s out there too, with just the same basic mods. The 6.7 ran into some issues with the DPF and EGR as well at first, just like the Job 1 6.4s. I can't wait until the 6.7 Powerstroke comes out. It's going to be rather interesting...
When I wrote the cummins is a bad motor, I was saying it in a good way. Lots of potential.
