Each socket snaps into a plastic fitting with a ball bearing. The sockets snap in very tight. You can get them in black or gray for standard or metric. I like them because they lay well in the tool chest and i can grab them when I'm on the go and stuff a rack or two in my tool bag. Ill take a picture of my tool chest when i get home.

x3, I really like these, they sell black and gray too, I have metric on gray and sae on black for easy finding. They are much better than the flimsy metal ones if you plan on moving your tools around with you or tossing them in a portable tool box.
