35" tires on anything resembling a stock samurai is a big (expensive )undertaking like rdkyj88 said a spring over lift and 31 'tires is a good start but will still be underpowered so you will want either transfer case gears or axle gears Ive had a few samurais and the ones Ive had the most fun with were the smaller built ones that I could beat on all day for 5$ worth of gas and not break anything this is how it usually goes for me ..
bigger tires - spring over lift -bigger gears- lockers- power steering - bigger engine - even bigger axles even bigger tires- more gears -more lockers - stretch wheel base - exo cage. or $ 300 samurai small agressive treads beat it and have fun actually a lot to be said for either way you go
