How do you know they weren't spread out through out the continents yet? Or even that the Continents had split? Let's follow this biblically for a minute. The Garden of edan was a Central Location. All the Animals, Birds, Living Creatures lived there. out side of the garden desolate. Is it hard to believe that maybe the animals hadn't gotten too far out of Reach in the small amount of time from the ejection from the garden to the building of the ark?

Furthermore, The ark was longer then a foot ball field. Around 450' and 45' tall and 75 ft wide. That sounds like a very large vessel. Now, PETA Was not around back then so I'm guessing inclosure's didn't have to be very large. Once again , think of a zoo. Most of zoos around aren't too large but still have a Large variety of animals. Then take the legal sizes of the cages they have to be in and shrink them significantly. Also take into consideration Adaptive Evolution. Not every single animal you see today was around back then. I, personally, see a reasonable ability to make this happen.

Also, Here is the verses that are from the bible that describe the Building of the ark and the storing of the food.

Genesis 6:15-21

This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. [d] 16 Make a roof for it and finish [e] the ark to within 18 inches [f] of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them."
