when I ran my plow truck all I ran for tires were the 235/75-15 wranglers. they had the best traction in the snow and ice. I did lots of hard breaking with the plow on going backwards and they were always good in the deep stuff.
I currently have the 315/70-17 BFG AT'Ko's on the H2, they do great in the snow and I have had little trouble with them. the wife used the H2 to pull out my dodge plow truck on the icey hard pack when I nosed the plow of a ditch line. it was stuck up the mirror on the drivers side and she pulled it out after I showed how to turn on the diff lock in low range, it didn't spin a tire.
