Did you make the sleeve by taking a 1/8" piece of mild sheet and wrap the tube with it? How wide did you make the sleeve? Just to fit in the knuckles or did it cover a little more of the axle tube?

The reasons for the questions is I have access to some D60 knuckles and have a D44R housing. I want to know if the build is going to handle 37's. The D44R I run now is always a crap shoot. Some days it is unbreakable, other days it spits out joints and shafts.
