I have a 1979 EBKO Cobra boat with Mercruiser 898 305 v8 200hp.
I bought it last year with a hope of restoring it, but with all my jeep projects I did not have time and will not have time to finish it. So it has to go.
I bought it from a guy that had it sitting in storage for 10 years prior to last year. He said everything on the boat was in very good shape but we couldn't start it. I tried putting new points in the distributor. It cranks fine but I'm still not getting a spark. It's probably an easy fix , but I don't know much about chevy engines, especially when in a boat. Probably either the distributor is shorted or needs new ignition coil.
The outside is in very nice shape. Inside it probably could use new seats and carpet. Floor is sturdy. Teak wood is weathered but would clean up really nice with some teak oil.
Trailer is heavy duty in very good shape.
I have title and old registrations for boat and trailer.
Trailer weighs 685lbs.
I also have a complete Shop Manual for this boat (600pages).
Boat has been and is winterized.
Come and get it before I put in away for the winter.
It's dark outside now, so pictures are not the best.
