You seriously think that? Here's a News flash, not every country is the US. They do things differently. Bowing is a Form of Respect which I HOPE any president would show a hint of Respect to some one they are trying to negotiate with or talk to about policy. It's called being polite and being understanding of OTHER Cultures. The rest of the world hates enough as it is, saying "Heck, we don't do that in the Good Old US-of-A" Isn't going to help change that image.

L4cx is exactly right !!! It's called diplomacy...Nixon had it (did you see how low HE bowed in China ?) Reagan did not, Clinton had too much of it and Obama is truely a "man of the world" we need to remember that being "American" means something. It means that we are able to deal with people and situations without carrying a big stick into the room. That we are SOPHISTICATED enough to realize that other people desrve respect for their culture and ways.
