Back in the day I had a 94 ex-cab. I put cheap aluminum autozone lift blocks in the rear, then cranked my torsion bars until it was level.

Probably rode rougher but I didn't care.

Went out wheeling the first time, no probs. Went to the credit union, when I was walking out I noticed my shock had pulled apart. The valve came off the rod. I realized the shocks didn't have enough travel for the cranked torsion bars plus wheeling. Never noticed it because it rode rough.

Bought a set of Skyjacker shocks for 0-4" lift. Fine after that.

Just be careful.

Oh, I had 33" tire also. But I had a body lift.
