but even then why would it be a pretty common swap to drop a cummins into the ford.
it will be interesting to see what the new 6.7 has going for it. the had a article about it in my magazine i just got but i havent read it yet
The current 6.4s have proved to be awesome motors so far. They had some problems with the job 1 and 2 '08s, but they've been straightened out. The 6.4 is untouchable with a Spartan.
But to answer the original question, Ford is still offering the Triton V8 and V10. The V10s are pretty strong runners, but still only average 10-12 mpg.
