I just finshed a 302 swap into a CJ7. I used BBK shorty headers for a 1995 Ford truck. These worked very well to clear the mechanical truck linkage. BBK #35100 for the coated header. The passenger side is close to the belhousing and the drivers side dumps out almost directly below the #7 exhaust port. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend using the Ford Racing harness #M-12071-A50. It is about $560, but WELL worth it. It will work on a 302 or 351 MAF engine and takes literally minutes to install. Sure, you can tear an old OEM harness apart and spend hours and hours sorting out the good from the bad wires, but why? This is one of those things that just makes sense to spend money on. Also, I used Novak engine mounts that worked very well at a reasonable price. PM me if you want more info. Happy to offer assistance.
