I did this on my 84 BroncoII. Just found a front axle that was the right width and cut all the mounts off the donor vehicle (77 Bronco) and started welding and fabricating. It is a lot of work but turned out great on my rig. I also swapped rear axles to have matching wheel bolt patterns and for strength. I would start looking at late 70's full size Bronco's and F150's to get some mesurements. Good luck.
