thats about it! when i did it i put a small amount of high temp rtv on the ends that butt together make sure you clean everything really good. I'm not sure about fords but when i rebuilt my 350 napa offered a seal that had an offset sealing lip to contact the new never worn part of the crank which is a good idea. Take your time and clean everything good and hopefully you wont have to pull it apart in a month to try it again
