I agree with the above comments too. I also have the 12,000 Reese with the trunion style. As a note, Ironman and I have almost identical tow rigs and trailers and we travel together frequently. He has the round bar style and rubs more frequently than I do.

I don't believe you can torque the bars up enough to lift the tires off the ground without seeing other issues. It takes a bit of trial and error to discover what settings work for you. Basically you are hooking onto a chain link for adjustment. Shorten the chain and you have more tension, lengthen it and you get less. You'll figure it out.

By the way, although he didn't say it, Ironman is a distributor for all that stuff.
