Powertrax products are JUNK!
I had the lockrite, and the "no-slip". Both gave me very good traction, but the they just are not durable. I broke the lock rite in 2 weeks (with 31in tires in a chrysler 9.25!!) I broke the pins and it split the entire right side of the unit right down the middle. The clearances were right. Powertrax gave me a new one but I oped for the no-slip version. The no slip was much better, quieter and lasted me about 2 months. When It broke it grenaded metal everywhere and took out my ring and pinion.
I regeared my axles myself to 4.56 gears 10,000 miles ago. Gear instal is much much more complicated than a powertrax install. I know what im doing and it was not a installation error. Im running just a lsd now and its doing great.
