My truck has 4.10 gears in it. So from what I am gathering I think the truck would do it. But for the distance I will be traveling I don't think it will be very comfortable. Probably be foot to the floor and maintaining around 65 MPH. Plus the engine in this truck does have over 300,000 miles on it. It runs great but I don't want to work it too hard. On top of that I don't think my budget will cover a large enough trailer at this point anyways. I have about $2000 to spend on one. I also have to use some of that for plates and registration for the truck and trailer. So there is no way I could afford a 30' goosneck that is in decent shape for $1500. I will look for a nice 16-18' instead. Thanks for the help.
