My doors still open better now than when it was a DD...the latches no longer need to work, the door is a "tight press fit" into the opening. No need for rock rails, the tubing would be worth more than the whole rig.
Do yourself a favor a buy a set of axle brackets for your swap, I salvaged my rear brackets off my original axle and I've had to straighten and re-weld them a couple times now, they just keep bending and tearing off....and not just at my welds either. The front brackets have held up better, but they are all bent, and one is about to tear.
