I'm not sure long term, but short term it appears to be a great winch. It pulls faster then the Warn 9.5. It does lack the ability to hold a lot of rope, and if you order one, make sure to order a competition fairlead, the normal fairleads allo the rope to run against the sharp corners of the winch
