You run 40's with the front 44 and you're going to do one of 2 things. Drive it super easy or break it. I think you'll break shafts before you will hurt the ring gear. By the way, before you waste money on cryoing, you might want to talk to an actual heat treater rather than the typical "send us your stuff to freeze" folks before you spend the cash. True cryogenic treating must happen within about 4 hours of the actual heat treating to do anything with retained austenite. It becomes a buzz word.
