Looks like you're making some good progress. But never say you're "all done". That's a myth.
An important thing to remember about buggies, especially VW powered ones is...cut as much weight as possible. Get out and check out some other buggies and see how they attach the frame to the front torsion tubes and trans axel. You can cut a lot of weight by getting rid of that VW tub. Don't expect the front shock towers to hold up to a lot of abuse with your frame tied in there. BTW, real buggies have king pin front ends

I wish I had some pictures of some of the things I'm talking about but I gave my sand rail to my kid and it's not at the house anymore.
If you plan on going to Silver Lake you are going to need a spark arrestor on your exhaust.
