I noticed the same thing in SW Florida. You couldnt go 10ft on a trail without having to move dishwashers or fridges or T.V.s massive amounts of mysterious containers that you just knew had motor oil and coolant in them. It was so disgusting that I just lost the desire to wheel. Made it even worse, red tide was in so I couldnt even go to the beach! Anyways, I agree it really puts things into prospective. It makes me wonder though, I know this fight we are in is WAAAY BIGGER than just Michigan. But how big? I pick up trash with my kid EVERY time we wheel or hunt to make it habit for him. I wish my eyes were open to this and its impact now when I was a kid. Its muffed up!
