I used to have a trailer from Antique. They are cheap in price, and cheap in construction.
Crappy wiring, light components, etc. They'll nickel and dime you for ramps, new tires vs used car tires, 7 wire plug, etc. I had to reweld several of the welds on it that cracked. Brakes on one axle, no breakaway, etc.
we recently bought a new 16ft trailer(with a 2 foot beavertail) from Forbes trailers in Waterford. MUCH heavier construction, nice welds, nice electrical junction box with a splice block, slide in ramps, 100% better than the antique one, and was maybe $700 in price difference.
I highly recommend them.
