Funny you mention that because a lot of my teenage memories and whatnot from high school took place out there with a lot of bonfires and whatnot.
Anyways, yea, I definitely am not going to go to the township before talking to the owner and have some sort of powerpoint/presentation available.
The owner very well may want to hold onto it and open a park anyways in the meantime to generate some revenue while the land sits vacant. Then if he ever decided to develop the land, he could shut the park down and develop it. But the land just sitting there isn't really making him any money.
What do you guys think? Would you be down for travelling to Port Huron to wheel and support the area? Or is it too far of a drive?
