Just got back from Silver Lake, what a terrible weekend. I was able to get some pictures but I'm sorry to say that the truck is broke and no longer moves, but still runs. So because of this, I've lowered the price to $1,000 without tires or $1,700 with 36" tires (I have 4 street tires that I could put on the truck.) I don't plan on fixing the truck so you will need a trailer and some way to get it on the trailer. I plan on keeping it in Silver Lake until it sells. The reason I'm not fixing it is because I don't want to put any time or money into the truck, I don't have time to use it anymore anyway. Here's what's wrong; After sitting in line for 1 1/2 hours I make it into the dunes, I start to climb Test Hill. Half way up I hear a klunk. I back down the hill while the drive-train klunks the whole way down. I crawl underneath and see the transfer case let go on one side and was dangling by just two bolts. The bushings on the one side completely disinegrated and caused the T-case to fall. So I pulled all of the drive shafts off and got pulled out. So the truck is sitting at the storage lot with the T-case dangling by two bolts and the drive shafts sitting in the box of the truck. To fix the problem you'll need to remount the T-case and put the drive shafts back on. All three drive shafts should have the U-joints replaced, caps fell off and are covered in sand. The driveshafts may of gotten bent in the process of backing down the hill, just a thought. I have an extra NP-205 that I will include with the sale of the truck. Will not part out truck, will only sell the entire truck. Let me know if you have anymore questions or if you would like more pictures. The prices are firm.
