For 35s, in most stock motor/trans situations, I'd have no problem running a Dana 30 front. Heavy/Big 35s, like a 35x15.5 SX, etc, obviously are again a difference scenario.
Whew!! For a minute there, I thought you meant me, but I am only running 36's!

I agree though that you need to know the limitations of your equipment, then go from there. My 30 is upgraded with Chromoly's so it helps a bit. (I hope)
