If you get it right in the camera to begin with you won't have to spend near as much time post-processing.
Photoshop is awesome, but it's also a scapgoat for people to "save" images. Get it right in the camera so you can shoot more and process less.
I rarely ever shoot in RAW it's such a waste of time and space. (IMO) If you go to a any photo forum there will be pages of back and forth on RAW...
