Form follows function, man. Replacing the stacks with a conventional system would be an extremely small price to pay considering the purpose-purchased vehicle's ability to do the job you need done. Sounds like you want to waste a bunch of $ or what you really want is just not really a tow rig.
or he realizes he doesnt need that and wants a nice ride from a vehicle that gets good mileage doesnt have as high of maintenance cost and pays less for fuel and no rust
