You cant really "wheel" on state land, if that is what you are reffering to, unless you are at St. Helen motosport area or the dunes. So to answer your question, no. And if it is private you can do whatever the land owner says you can do. Hope this helps!

You can however, travel forest roads as long as a two wheel drive passenger vehicle can traverse it and your not acting in an erosive manner, but not if it is posted closed. On the other hand the Lower Peninsula is closed unless posted open to ORV's. Of which your SOS licensed vehicle is not considered.

Your question left me wondering what type of vehicle you thought about using so I kinda tried to put it all out there. Confused yet? So are we!
