Hanson, who said that commissioners have received favorable feedback on the ordinance in the past two months, suggested that the county seek financial help from ORV users and other organizations to help sign the roads and trails and produce maps and educational materials if the ordinance is approved.
"Somebody is going to have to step up to the plate if we're going to do this in a safe and efficient manner," Hanson said.
Wat? Do the snow machines that use the road shoulders have to "step up to the plate" with funds for signage? When was the last time anyone placed a sign on the road shoulder for sleds?
